This seems to be a recurring theme in several books I've read in recent years; that "outsiders" see most Christians as judgmental. Isn't that sad?? As "little Christs" (what the word Christian) means, shouldn't we be known for the same types of things that He was? During his 33 years here on earth, Jesus was known for his love and acceptance - not his judgments. He welcomed ALL to come to him - not only those who looked, talked, and acted a certain way. When, exactly did so many of our churches begin to pull so far away from the message of Jesus and take a stance of self-righteousness and judgement?
