“Just get on Facebook”
“Sign up for Twitter, and they’ll find you”
“Post some cool pictures on Flickr, and that will bring you some new customers”
None of these are sound advice. To successfully use social media for your business, you need to create ways to engage with the community. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Flickr are some of my favorite tools. But they are just that – tools. There needs to be sound strategy and execution behind what you post to those various channels.
I believe that every organization has a story to tell. And sometimes those stories may lead to opportunities to engage people in some meaningful conversations. Some of those conversations may be with existing customers, and others may be with new prospects. And maybe they don’t turn into new customers or business, and you’re just “paying it forward” and sharing your knowledge with the masses. I think that’s okay.
If you have heard about social media, but feel overwhelmed by it all and don’t know where to start, I can help! I know that there is no “one size fits all” social media campaign that will work for every organization. But I believe that EVERY business should have some social media presence, and have someone actively engaged in the community there. With a little bit of coaching and/or monthly maintenance done by me, I will show you how to:
- Determine your goals
- Formulate a strategy
- Select the right social media tools for your organization
- Plan / track updates that you’ll post
- Education you on how to monitor all the chatter in just a few minutes a day
- Set up tracking and eventually… Return on Investment
I’d love to talk to you and tell you more about what I have to offer. Just contact me to set up a meeting today.
